Tiny Thinkers Preschool (“Tiny Thinkers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates preschool and daycare campuses in North Hills, Canoga Park, and Santa Clarita, California, and this website at tinythinkers.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only. Information you give us during enrollment, and records about enrolled children, are handled under our enrollment agreement, our Parent Handbook, and the California child care licensing rules that apply to us.

Information you give us

When you book a tour, send a message through our chat, or contact us, you may give us:

  • your name, email address, and phone number;
  • the campus and program you are interested in;
  • your child's first name, age or date of birth, and desired start date;
  • anything else you choose to include in a message.

Please don't send sensitive details such as medical information or Social Security numbers through the website or chat. We will collect those, when we need them, through our enrollment process.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web host and the services we embed may receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. Our own site does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. The third-party tools described below may set their own cookies or similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • to schedule and confirm tours and answer your questions;
  • to follow up with you about enrollment, availability, and programs you asked about;
  • to send appointment reminders and other messages you have agreed to receive;
  • to operate, secure, and improve the website;
  • to comply with the law and protect the safety of our students, families, and staff.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Services that help us run the website

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed for them to do that work:

  • LeadConnector runs our tour booking forms, our chat widget, and our email and text messaging. Information you submit through those tools is stored in our LeadConnector account.
  • Google Maps is embedded on our location pages to show directions. Google's use of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Our web hosting provider stores and serves the website and keeps standard server logs.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of our students, families, staff, or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about tours, enrollment, reminders, and school updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of enrollment or of booking a tour.

We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or text messaging opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the service providers that deliver our messages.

Children's privacy

Our website is meant for parents and guardians. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. When a parent tells us about their child (for example, the child's name and age on a tour form), we use it only to respond to that parent. If you believe a child has given us personal information through the site, please contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and tour information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up about enrollment, and as required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices and rights

  • You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP.
  • You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us below.
  • California residents: depending on the circumstances, California law may give you additional rights to know about, correct, and delete your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for using those rights. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
  • Do Not Track: our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because we do not track visitors across other websites.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy
